Default Vote For Brady - 12/12/69

http://www.youtube.com/user/Retrotee...30/vzaPlW1vuss

A nice episode this one with Marcia ad Greg having a lot to do together.

The stablishing shot of Greg and Marcias school is used a few more times during the course of the show. We see it here first when Greg is playing his 'blank' tape to his friends. I think, therefore, we might also see Greg and his friends in the background everytime this show is used.

In the family room we get to see that the back rests on the seating are are storage areas.

In a scene in Mikes Den featuring Mike and Greg we have one of those rare moments where the curtains are open!

In a scene with Carol and Marcia we learn that Carol used to play golf. In a later season Carol tries to learn how to play golf. Seems she and everyone else forgot she did know the game.

There is a nice scene in which Marcia tries to apologise to Alice for being rude to her and later Maureen proves just how good she is in her crying scene with the practise speach run through. Also in that scene take note that despite having 8 chairs that the Brady kids sit on foldaway chairs that look a lot like those used on the stage at the end of the episode.

Lastly, a blooper at 1.48 seconds into the scene linked below. Look at the bottom right hand corner of the screen and you can see the tracks laid down that the camera was pulled back on.

Good observations! Thanks for taking the time to point things out. I was curious go back to see the camera track in the dining room.

One thing that I inquired about in the past and that I am still very curious about is whether you are from England!

Sorry Smartboy. I thought I had addressed that in another thread as I mentioned that here in England (where I live) we call the sidewalk a pavement; you pop the hood and we lift the bonnet and you turn on the faucet and we turn on the tap.

Did you see this one yet? I watched it on my DVD because it's not being shown in my area right now. My favorite scene is where the older kids are sitting at the bottom of the stairs wanting to cancel Christmas. Alice snaps them out of it with her comments like taking back the presents and throwing the turkey away.

I was born in 1975 and first saw TBB in about 1990. For the most part I would say that it is not that well known. Only the first 2 or 3 seasons have made it to dvd over here (The Partridge Family only managed a season one release). The Brady Bunch Movie was released at the cinema over here and did go to number one. When I watched it I do remember a couple leaving before it ended. I think the first movie worked better if you knew the show. The second movie had a release date but in the end it went straight to dvd.

I did learn of a BB fan on another board I am a member of. I would guess that it probably has small cult following the same way in which the original Dr Who had a small cult following in the States.

I watched it today and have posted a thread on it. The sad thing with the dvd version is that it contains so many grainy inserts.

I don't think Marcia should have let Greg win just because he was older.

I like the way this script shows a common phenomeonom with sibling rivalry. They often fight among themselves but if an outsider attacks one of them they will usually come to their defense!
