thought I was about to have my own UM moment...

Ok, this is hokey and silly, but maybe fellow UM fans will "get" it .

So I'm in this Burger King drive-thru about 1:00am a couple weeks ago. I'm trying to read the menu board, when this homeless guy w/ a shopping cart appears at my window. "Got any money" kind of thing. I say "No, sorry" and place my order. I pull up to the window and while waiting for my stuff, the homeless guy "gets into line" behind my car! He's just standing there staring into my rearview. After five minutes I get my stuff and drive off. I watch thru my rearview as he starts pestering the girl at the window for a Whopper. She tells him she can't since he's not in a vehicle. He starts cussing and demanding the food.

Now, as I pull back around to drive off, I consider calling this guy over to my car and give him a couple of bucks so he'll at least leave the girl alone and she can shut the window (he was blocking it from being shut).

But then....I heard Bob Stack's voice and heard that low synth music in my head: dooo-do-do-dooooo: "1:15am. The Burger King employee witnesses Anderson call the homeless man over to his car. She says the two exchanged words and that Anderson gave the man what appeared to be two dollar bills. She then closed up her window thinking nothing of it, and as the two men spoke, she left the window and began texting on her cell phone."

"11:45am the next day. Anderson's abandoned car is found six miles from the Burger King location in a strip mall parking lot. Don Anderson......is nowhere to be found."

"Three days later, December 1st. Don Anderson's body is discovered in a rural area, with stab wounds to the face and neck. His wallet...is missing."

So I got the hell outta there!!! And as I drove off the guy was walking away from the BK with his cart. So, thanks, UM, for straightening me out!

Hahaha...I've had many UM moments...particularly with a psychotic neighbor at my first apartment...but yours was hilarious
