Boat that left from Maui - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hello,
I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about the one mystery about the group of five guys that left Maui on a fishing trip. Then several years later they found the boat on the Marshall Islands and they found the grave of one man. I was just wondering if there was any new information about that. Thanks.

This is one of my favorite cases. I've always wondered what happened to the missing crew of that vessel, I believe the name was the sara joe(sp?) or something that sounded similar to that. I've always thought it was fascinating how years later the vessel was spotted in the Marshal Island and a grave of one of the fisherman was erected but to this day I don't think any trace of the other crewman have ever been found. probably the only clue were the odd piees of paper with the small pieces of tin in the center found in the makeshift grave.
