Default TV Watching Habits: Alone or with someone?

Just curious how most of us watch the shows we love. I usually watch TV alone, but I find that if someone watches with me, particularly if they are into the show, really increases the enjoyment.

Anybody agree?

I'm definitely the type that likes to watch t.v. alone. I'm not AGAINST someone joining me, but I find it more enjoyable when I can watch by myself. But, then again, I like doing a lot of things by myself

Mostly I watch TV alone in my room (where my DVD player is) because my family and I have differing tastes in TV shows. My parents usually watch their CSI and Bones in the living room. Usually I do watch the news and Jeopardy with them.

Well, since I'm not married I watch TV alone. My cat will usually snuggle up next to me and snooze, LOL.

TV

I watch it alone. The last time I watched anything with my hubby was the movie Twilight. He has different taste in shows than I do.

I'm the same way. I don't mind it if someone wants to watch TV with me, but I'd prefer to be alone.

I watch most TV shows alone. Sometimes if my boyfriend is around we will watch TV together.

I watch just about everything with my husband. He watches action and slasher type movies and the like, by himself, but I'm usually in the room; on the computer or reading. I often take that opportunity to talk on the phone.

Usually by myself, but when I'm with my brother...I'll watch TV with him.

It depends on what show or movie it is. I would say the majority I watch alone.

For me it also depends on what it is.

For things like The Simpsons or Family Guy I can watch with others because you don't really need to be following it.

For more plot-driven stuff like 24 I prefer to watch alone so there are no distractions. I don't have to stop and explain things about the show to people who don't follow it.
