Season Two of My Two Dads will be released by Shout! Factory on February 16, 2010. This will be a normal factory produced DVD set, but will only be available for purchase on shoutfactory.com.

I'm glad Shout! is doing this. With only one set after this one, there's a high chance the series will be completed on DVD. I still have to pick up my season one set though. It's on my list.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe this was when they changed the theme song/opening. The opening now had a stop-motion sequence, very similar to other sitcom openings from that era.

IMO, I much prefer the later opening sequences and theme songs.

Speaking of the theme song, how many versions there were? I know there was one in the pilot, one during the remainder of the first season, a new version of the season one theme with a guitar lead, and a version that was the same as the guitar lead version, but with a saxophone lead instead.

I haven't seen this show in a long time and only remember the first season opening.
