Chad Ochocinco Says He is Going to Steal the Viking Mascot's Blow Horn - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco outlined his plans for a celebration Sunday at the Metrodome on a conference call with Twin Cities reporters Wednesday morning.

Ochocino had tweeted on Tuesday that when he scored he was going to steal the horn used by the Vikings mascot and use it. "I'm going to steal it from what's his name? Ragnar?" Ochocinco said. "You better give it to me. If he doesn't give it to me I'm going to MMA him. Why are laughing? I'm serious. I'm dead serious. You know when I say something I'm serious."

Ochocinco, who declared he was all about fun until game time, got excited when told Ragnar had a motorcycle. "It's just going to be a fun game," he said. Asked if he had a motorcyle license, Ochocinco said, "I don't. Maybe they can include that in the fine."

He was talking about the various fines he has received from the NFL throughout his career for various celebrations. That includes a $30,000 fine he reportedly received for wearing a sombrero after a touchdown Sunday against Detroit.

Ochocinco, asked what his favorite celebration has been, said: "Probably when I snatch this horn this week. That will be the best."

Ochocinco said repeatedly, using some words not fit for this blog, that he is upset that Pro Bowl cornerback Antoine Winfield likely won't play again. "He's about the most complete corner you can find in the NFL," Ochocinco said. "You have great corners but you never find one as complete that can cover and tackle at the same time. I have so much respect for that dude. I really was looking forward to going against him once I saw the schedule during the season."

Ochocinco said he expects to go against Cedric Griffin and Benny Sapp and said he and Sapp are very good friends. Ochocinco and Sapp "hang out" together in Miami during the offseason. "My whole thing was really looking forward to going against Antoine," he said. "That was my thing."

Ochocinco tweeted to Vikings left tackle Bryant McKinnie that he was going to run circles aroound the Vikings defense on Sunday and that McKinnie should pass that message on to his teammates. "I don't have a choice," Ochocinco said. "I'm not going to let anyone cover me wearing purple."

Asked if he wanted to tell the Vikings corners anything else, Ochocinco said: "Everybody knows I have fun but when it comes time to play they better be ready to play. On a serious note, I'm really looking forward to the challenge. And from what I see on film it will be a challenge not just for myself but for my team also. That defense is unbelievable. Their loss the other night [at Arizona] is not fooling me one bit. You can't win them all. They have an unbelievable front seven. ... It's going to be a fun challenge for us."

Ochocinco said "it is what it is," when asked by Mark Craig if he could confirm he received the $30,000 fine for wearing the sombrero.

"You know I'm going to continue to have fun," Ochocinco said. "You know that. I think one of the reasons that they fine players is it's a way to control us because they think most of us play for the money. I don't play to get paid. This is a job to where I've reached a point in my career or a level of football where you get paid ... you get paid for your job, right? But I'm having fun. And the reason they fine us is cause they think the money is all we care about. That's not my focal point. My focal point is playing ball and having fun. That's it. That's what's different, when you throw these fines at me that's not what I care about. I play this game because I love it."

Asked if the league had ever threatened to suspend him, Ochocinco said: "What are they going to suspend me for? For having fun? I'm not that bad, I'm not that bad."

Ochocinco, who confirmed he puts aside $100,000 before each season to pay fine money to the NFL, then tried to imagine what would happen if he was suspended. "Breaking news," he said, "Chad Ochocinco suspended for too many celebrations. How would that sound? I'm not hurting anybody. I'm very respectful with everybody I've played against. If you ask some of the players on the Vikings, they will let you know. It's all in good, fun nature. I never disrespect anyone, I never hurt anyone."

As much as I hate to say it, I'd rather have him then VJ who gets in trouble with the law... Got a DUI case that is on appeal..
