Hello fellow Unsolved Mysteries lovers. I need help remembering the name of a person depicted in an Unsolved Mysteries episode. I dont remember the exact details but a man disappeared and shortly before he disappeared, he told his girlfriend "Have you ever seen the movie, White Sands?" "Some similar is happening to me." White Sands is a 1992 movie starring Mickey Rourke and Willem Dafoe in which Dafoe (a sheriff of a small town) comes across a dead body and a suitcase full of cash and decides to pretend to be the dead man by tracking down the last known things he had done. Apparently, this guy on UM did something similar and he disappeared. Does anyone remember this case or the man's name who disappeared?
Another case I'm having trouble remembering is the elderly couple who went to Las Vegas. The husband claims he dropped off his wife at a specific entrance to their favorite casino yet the security tapes never show his car dropping her off or her walking in or around the casino. The woman was never seen again and the man swears up and down he had nothing to do with it. Does anyone remember this episode or the names of the people depicted in it? |

Justin Burgwinkel was the name of the guy who dissapeared. He was in the army and told his girlfriend about the White Sands connection the last time she saw him alive.
