Happy 63rd Birthday.

And a very belated second! This caught my eye because I share the same birthday. John Rubinstein was nominated for an Emmy for his portrayal of Jeff Maitland III on Family, and his role certainly added a lot to the show. But to me his contribution in writing the theme music was even more a part of what makes the series a personal favorite. It set the tone, and became an integral part of the ambience that makes me want to keep watching.
