Carrie Underwood has plenty to be thankful for this holiday season. She recently hosted the CMA Awards, released her third CD, Play On, and just wrapped up her variety special Carrie Underwood: An All-Star Holiday Special.

"It was a lot of fun to tape and I think we ended up with a great show," Underwood says of her very own two-hour special.

The singer, 26, teams up with an impressive list of stars on her show (airing Dec. 7 on FOX at 8 p.m. ET), including her CMA Awards co-host Brad Paisley, Kristin Chenoweth, David Cook and country legend Dolly Parton.

I saw Carrie's holiday special last night myself, and I have to say that she sure looked good last night!

Also, Kristin Chenoweth thinking that Carrie was actually Dolly Parton in that costume she was wearing was so hilarious!

I love Carrie, but I was disappointed with her FOX special. I thought something advertised as a holiday special would include a bunch of holiday tunes and stuff, which this show didn't. I also thought the skits were corny and stupid, especially the one with Carrie playing all those instruments. I expected better from her.
