Thumbs down Smallville

Ive been watching every ep. of this show since it premiered. When i saw the first ep, i thought it had some promise, but every ep. since then has gone downhill. EVERY bad guy in EVERY episode has something to do with Krytonite! And, the show is gettin kinda freaky, with the coach w/fire from his eyes, etc. I dont like it anymore. What do you all think?

I agree with you a 100%. Smallville has gone downhill since the first episode. I do, however, like the premise of a young Superman as an awkward teenager trying to find his place in the world with super powers he does not fully understand or know how to control.

I tried to watch it, but it seemed too much like "Superman's Creek", a typical WB show.

The best Superman show thus far has been Lois & Clark. That is until they got married. Something was lost after that.

Default Re: Smallville

Oh, I disagree wholeheartedly! This is my fav show this season, every week I can't wait to have at it! I just love it! I think the stories are great + are tense enough to keep me on the edge of my seat. I haven't had this kind of interest in a show since Now And Again! I liked the pilot best + the one with the coach the least. I hope this show runs for a long time! I've gotten every episode on tape + as soon as my grandson is old enough, I'll rewatch them with him. I've told him about some of the bizarre things that've happened on the show + he keeps wanting to see it but he's a little young at 8 + doesn't have a very good attention span yet. Maybe when he's 10 or 12!!
