COMING IN FEBRUARY: BOSTON LEGAL

Not bad, but I wish 8-10pm could be the same every weeknight. I guess it would be stupid to interrupt Home Improvement for an hour though (with MWC from 9-10pm). Can they not air Boston Legal every night?

IMO, they should air Little House in the evening or early morning again since it's not on Hallmark. I can't remember how long it's been that it hasn't aired anywhere nationally.

That's a lot of Home Improvement. I still hate how they do these nightly marathons. I'd much rather they just switch to a normal schedule Why not just make it easy and do Home Improvement 8pm, Married with Childre 9pm, Roseanne 10pm? And Boston Legal on Mondays - whats with that? Being such a recent show for them with a decent view following, it should be getting a nightly timeslot - why not 11pm?

I was thinking they would want it to air in prime-time, and had thought 8pm Home Improvement, 9pm MWC, 10pm Boston Legal, 11pm Roseanne? I'm sure they paid a lot of money for it, Mondays seems odd. Must be a restriction.

I think that would be good and then they could even do marathons after midnight (12am - 2am OR 3am):

Mon- Married...with Children (can't remember if it's 1am or 2am they are restricted to)
Tue- Home Improvement
Wed- Boston Legal
Thu- Roseanne
Fri-3rd Rock or M*A*S*H

I could also see them airing MWC and/or HI in the 6pm/7pm hours

I agree - midnight-2am marathons are a much better idea, with a regular primetime schedule happening 8pm-midnight. What you and clj2 would pretty much work perfectly. What they have now is far too confusing for the average viewer to follow.

This idea is perfect. I was going to suggest maybe HI 8-10, MWC 10-12, Roseanne 12-2 but that doesn't include Boston Legal which will be coming.

I would assume Boston Legal will air every night, maybe just on Monday will be a longer marathon (like HI has on Tuesdays).

However, having it look like this, as someone mentioned would be the best:
8-9: Home Improvement
9-10: Married with Children
10-11: Roseanne
11-12: Boston Legal

Just typing that out made me realize how well The Nanny would work in there (maybe at 9 before Roseanne). But there's no way that TV Land can air HI, MWC, Roseanne, Boston Legal, and then Nanny and Everybody Loves Raymond when that comes later on. They don't see to be planning on removing anything either. I guess that is why they don't do a regular schedule. With that many shows having to air from 8pm onwards they wouldn't be able to fit them all in.

That 8-12am schedule just sounds very reasonable to me. I don't understand why TV Land doesn't realize. Hopefully you're right, and Boston Legal will end up getting a nightly timeslot.

When Everybody Loves Raymond and The Nanny come, they could definitely have one hell of a primetime lineup. Home Improvement could shift to 7pm, Raymond could air at 8pm, 9pm would be The Nanny, 10pm would be Married with Children, with maybe Boston Legal at 11pm and Roseanne shifting to midnight. Something tells me a regular schedule like this, as reasonable as it may be, is never going to happen, though

The only thing though....why put as big of an acquisition as Boston Legal outside of prime-time at 11pm or something? Since Roseanne doesn't do that great, I'd move it (like I said previously) to 11pm-12am outside of PT and try Boston Legal 10pm-11pm.

Wow, the "classic marathons" HAVE been cut. That's a shame, especially for the Brady Bunch (I know it's having a marathon)/Good Times/Beaver/Hogan's types that don't have that great of timeslots.

And it's about time for a "Leave it to Beaver" marathon again (would have been great for around the holidays with families home a little more). "The Brady Bunch" may not have any airings for February as after the MLK Day Marathon, it's off Sunday nights with HI taking over 2am and HSR encores taking over 3am.

Yeah, The Brady Bunch expires 5/31, so that is probably its last hurrah or maybe it will have one more marathon.
I don't think they are doing "classic marathons" because they want to be distanced from classic shows, and doing that on the weekends, especially when a lot of people are home, sort of promotes that idea. I wish they would do random classic marathons on Sunday afternoons instead of Andy Griffith as it already airs daily enough.

i'm glade their cuting back on roseann. even if they just show it five hours is ok long is it not like 24 hours like they been doing. i'm glade their bring homeinprovment. thats my all time favorite show. do you know when bosten leagel , everyone love raymond or the nanny is coming to tv land?

Not Boston Legal. We DO NOT want anymore new shows on there. I want the old shows not this new stuff. Might as well call the channel Tvwasteland. Fortunately I like the Nanny and Home Improvement and Raymond. Sigh...

I wish they would do that. Anything that is STEADY and generally the same would be a major help.

I don't get what they are doing with MWC, it's almost like it's filler.
