Does anyone know when the next Lucy Special is being released? From what I understand, Lucy Calls the President is next.

I checked the DVD release schedule at tvshowsondvd.com for December, January, and February and no Lucy specials were on the list.

I've been saying this for a while. It's really strange that they put all those previews on their Lucy dvds but with no release dates in sight. The average dvd-buyer would probably see it, want to buy it and not be able to find it. It's a bad marketing strategy. I mean, Lucy fans like us who keep up with this stuff will know there are delays and such but the general public might lose interest if its not right in front of their faces.

Anyhow, I tried e-mailing MPI but they were no help at all. They didn't even say it was coming soon. They just said that their site has what is available. I got impatient with these long ago and have already watched the special several times from a recording someone made for me. But, I agree, I wonder what is taking them so long. Has anyone taken a look at the crap that is on their release schedule?

Unfortunately, they have said they will not cover these releases in their news. They don't categorize them as a tv series release. So I've been checking on other sites for news but haven't seen a thing yet. Hopefully, we will hear something soon. At this rate, the specials will not be complete for another year or so.

I definitely want "Lucy Calls The President". It was Lucy and Viv's last time on screen together.

I check in with MPI Entertainments website, occasionally. They have a news and upcoming releases schedule. No mention of any more Lucy specials, yet.

Lucy Calls the President, according to Amazon has a release date listing for April 6th!!!
