Okay, so it's a safe bet we all like to laugh <grin> -- but what about other programs? Specifically: dramas from the 80s.
Why the 80s? 'Cos the decade seems to be enjoying a comeback and -- even though some folk would have you believe that *nothing* worthwhile happened in the 1980s -- I think there were some pretty neat shows on then. |

Well, drama's, eh? Does The A-Team count?
![]() Just kidding... I actually have watched some reruns of L.A. Law that I quite enjoyed. It's much better than any 'court drama' on today. They're all basically rip-offs... ------------------ "It was just like Saturday Night Fever, only it was a Friday." |

Dallas was pretty good. Anyone remember Lou Grant, the MTM spin-off one-hour drama?

Tim Brooks and Earl Marsh's book lists this as a poilce drama, so I suppose it applies here. I love the short lived sci-fi cop series Automan. That show kicks butt!!

Here's a few I thought were worthy. (Watch out -- they range from the slick to the sappy!)
Midnight Caller, China Beach, Paradise, and Beauty and the Beast. (Hey, quit laughing! I warned you! <grin> |

Does anyone remember The Knight Rider? That was the show with Kit the talking car. I guess it would be considered more action than drama. I used to watch it but now it sounds kind of cheesy. Just wondering if anyone else remembers it.

JoPol_wannabe -- You're right! Moonlighting should be included among the classics, too!
factsoflife -- Knots Landing was *a lot* of fun. Lots of devious people on that show <grin> HerDaddy -- You know, I didn't really appreciate Thirtysomething until I caught it in re-runs. It was addictive. |
