So Frustrated With The Job Hunt! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I had an interview in the beginning of November at our local hospital. The guy that interviewed me said, "I will call you within 1 week to let you know regardless. He never called back. So I called the hospital back. They said he was out with the flu. I called back 2 times the next week and they said he was not there. I went to the hospital in person and they said he was not there. Last Friday, I called again and they said he was not there. I told them that was a bunch of BS because he was not even sick and no one is usually out for a month like that. The guy that answered the phone said, " I dont mean to sound mean, but that means you probably did not get the job." I said that he was supposed to call me back regardless. I then said, " I think that was a rotten thing for him to do and you can tell him I said so too." I said this in the snottiest tone I could and hung up the phone. Places that pull this bologna are worthless and I hope they get the full amount of shame put on themselves.

Make it three. I can't find a second job and My Job Helper isn't helping.

It's been over a year since I've been with them and there's no damn light at the end of the tunnel. I'll never get a second job.

Sorry you had to go through that. That was very unprofessional for someone to pull that and a poor excuse. I now this isn't much help but you all just hang in there. Good luck.
