Hi all. I am looking for a segment from Unsolved Mysteries that was done in Milwaukee WI. (I am almost positive it was from this show-I have not seen it someone told me about it.) The segment was about a townhouse in Milwaukee that was haunted. That is all I know about it, except that my grandparents lived in that townhouse in the early 80's. I think it would be fun to see that segment because I spent a lot of time there-although I never experienced anything, two of my aunts claim that they did. Any help with this would be great. Thanks.

Hi ulalume,
I THINK you might be referring to the Tallman house? That is the only haunted house story taht I remember out of Wisconsin (the Madison area? I am not sure). This is where a family of 5 was supposedly haunted by evil spirits and poltergeists. These spirits supposedly came into existence after the parents built a bunk bed in the girls' room. This story always used to give me nightmares! You name it, it happened to the Tallman's! Evil spirits, poltergeists, a radio that turned on and off of its own accord, mysterious garage fires, and supposedly witches with "horns on their heads." It is on the UM Ghost stories collection. You definitely should check it out. Wow, I didn't know that your grandparents lived at the haunted house site! that must have been interesting. I know that the Tallmans eventually fled the house and had the bunkbed destroyed. Supposedly the next owners never reported any similar hauntings. |

thanks for your response. I had seen that one, and it wasn't it. I actually have quite a bit of info on who the girl was. She had lived there and died from cancer. She wasn't a mean spirit though. She would do silly things like pull the knobs off the stove. My one aunt says she heard her crying one night. I had also seen an episode of one show(not sure if it was UM) where this guy did an exorcism, but he said that the house he was at was outside of Waukesha, and the house I am thinking of was in Milwaukee (around 68th and Howard Ave-if you know the Milwaukee area). Thanks again. :-)
