Default Anyone else surprise the Vikings are 10-1?

I know I am because I was expecting Farve to fail big time but the man has proved me wrong.

Count me surprised, Solomon!

Of course, I wish they were 0-11. Is the league rigged to make them Super Bowl champions and "guilt" the voters to vote in favor of using their taxpayer money to build them a new stadium???

It really doesn't surprise me at all because the Vikings were always just a QB away from a great team.

Yeah that is true, if they have a different QB in that wildcard game last year vs the Beagles the outcome would have been different.

Agreed, I really think the Vikings are the most complete team in the NFC.

If you only need one statistic to understand why the Vikings are 10-1 and why Favre appears to be working his Favry magic, understand this: Brett only has three interceptions. All years. Compared to 24 TDs.

Aside from his first season, in Atlanta, when he played in a total of two games, his previous low-water-mark for interceptions? 13, in three different seasons in the 1990s. He's currently on pace to finish with between 5-7 interceptions *MAX*, easily the most mistake-free season of his career. That's the difference. It also helps that with 5 games to go he has 24 TDs (better than ~50% of his season totals already), but the key figure is THREE interceptions on the whole season.

And I believe two came in one game. It is incredible that he only has three.

What would be weird to see is if the Packers make it as a wild card team, and win the game and play the Vikings in the next round. That would be nuts if Vikings lost.
