Default Do the Steelers have a chance...

To beat the Ravens? Big Ben is out, Troy Polomalu is out, Their best run stopper is Aaron Smith, he's out.. Their best run blocker Kemoatu is out.
They have to start a 3rd string QB, because Charlie Batch broke his wrist.
OUCH! The Steelers are in trouble.

If the Chargers make their run, they better do it this year since they may not have to play Pittsburgh!!

I'd rather not play NE either..

If the Ravens don't beat the Steelers tonight, they never will. I think the only way the Steelers can win is if it turns into a defensive game. That's possible since the Ravens offense has been struggling lately.

This is why I can't be a Steelers Fan.

After they win it all, they blow it the next season. Don't tell me that there's a snowball chance in hell that a team can repeat because some teams such as the Cowboys and Patriots go into the playoffs after winning the Super Bowl. Sure, they may not win it all the next year after they won the last year, but I haven't seen Pittsburgh do that!

Have you ever watched the Steelers of the 70s? And who says the Steelers won't be in the playoffs this year? Every time you post something, you show how little you really know about the sport.

You have to give Paul the benefit of the doubt. Remember that he is from Cleveland and the only football team they have there is the Browns. And let's face it, how much can you really learn about football by watching the Cleveland Browns?

I was pretty happy with Dixon last night. He started out hotter than he ended, but for someone playing in there second game and there first start, and being a division game, and being in primetime and against a great defense I was very impressed. He did throw the interception, but he also got them in overtime before that. Charlie Batch will probbably retire after this year so it is nice to see a young backup that looked better than average. It was a lot better than I thought it would be last night. I thought they would get creamed and they stuck in there.

I meant lately, I'm sorry that I forgot the Iron Curtain of the 70's and the Chuck Noll Years. Besides, it was Chuck Noll who basically put the Steelers on the map.

I also could tell you that in the 40's, they were known as the Steagles and the Carpets. (In 1943, the Steelers merged with the Eagles and in 1944 the Steelers merged with the Cardinals). And prior to the Noll years, the Steelers only saw the playoffs in 1947 Season when they lost the Eastern Division against the Eagles.

And actually...I don't even watch football!

Their Defense can't stop anyone. The D used to be the strong point of the team. They have blown 4 4th qt leads.
