Post Fave dramas of all time?

what is everyone's favortie drama of all time?i have many favorite dramas: here are my top ten-

1. Sisters- i think that this finley written, directed, produced and acted series is just one of the best series of all time, it was a show that transended time and anyone could releate to, because everyone has parents and if they don't have siblings they at least have friends and they releate to people.

2. Melrose place- although this show is more of a guilty pleasure, i'll admit to watching and enjoying all seven seasons of this campy treat.

3. My so-called life- One of the truley wonderful series of the 1990's, this drama was the first teenage drama to be critically acclaimed. to bad the ratings sucked and ABC was run by a bunch of idiots that couldn't realize that claire danes gave a brilliant emmy worthy performance and this show should have been renewed.

4. party of five- canceled, renewed, canaceled, renewed, that is what the first four of this shows six seasons were like, but it was and still is an excellent series that i still miss.

5. Felicity- My girl Fel is still riding high and so is the ratings on the show which was finally renewed for a full season.

6. Popular- this truley wonderful series was given the shaft from the WB when they moved it to the friday night death slot and canceled.

7. Savannah- this guilty pleaseure was short lived, it ran on the wb from 1995-1997, but it was still an excellent show that never should have been canceled.

8. Models Inc.,- this is another short lived guilty pleasuer. airing from 1994-1995 on FOX this melrose place ( see # 2) spinoff was a trashy and campy soap opera if ever there was one but it is truly one of the great dramas of all time.

9. Ally Mcbeal- although more of a dramady Ally Mcbeal has a charm and witt that makes it a touching and heartwrecnching drama.

10.. and last but not least is MoonLighting, ths classic series ran on ABC for many, many years and is a true classic. i will never forget the blue moon detective agency.

I have to admit, even though it's pretty annoying (that theme song!), I like The Bradys . It's not that bad, I guess...

Thumbs up

'My So-called Life' is not only the best drama ever made, but it is without a doubt the best TV show ever made.
I agree that it's a shame that the ratings it got were terrible but, with only 19 episodes made, it's a real undiscovered (a lot of people I know have never even heard of it!) classic.
Shows like 'Dawson's Creek' annoy the hell out of me cos they have absolutely no grip on reality at all! 'My So-called Life' is the only show I've ever seen that totally captured what it was like to be a teenager in the early 90's.
A true classic.

p.s. does anyone know if it's possible to get MSCL on DVD?

(Nancy McKeon's biggest fan.)

On April 24, 2008, Dana and I are to meet in LA and handcuff ourselves to Nancy McKeon [Jinny Dearest] and Jay Harrington [Teddy Dearest], and you're not. Hahaha!

Jinny: You're a peach.

Teddy: You all set for tomorrow night?
Jinny: I have my bullet proof vest polished if that's what you mean.
Teddy: Come on, Jinny.
Jinny: Oh, yes. Actually... I bought a dress.
Teddy: You did?
Jinny: There is no guarantee, however, that I am going to wear it.
Teddy: So, uh... I don't know. What else did you buy?
Jinny: How do you know I bought you anything for your birthday? Maybe I plan on knitting you a sweater or... give you something much more organic.
Teddy: Well, you do give good organic.

Teddy: What's this dress look like anyway?
Jinny: Oh, yeah, OK. Low cut, skin tight, animal print, ruffle at the bottom. Don't you have lawyering to do?

Teddy: Be honest with me, not my parents!
Jinny: All right, fine. You want honesty? Why don't you let me tell you a little bit about my family? See, I never really had a birthday party unless you wanna count my 15th, when my father showed up for cake, plastered in his underwear! Oh... yeah, by the way, my mom couldn't make it that year either because, well, sadly, six months earlier she blew her brains out!!!!!
Teddy: Jinny, my God.
Jinny: As for my brother, ugh... yeah, John... see, he just doesn't like you unless your American, white, and straight... and for me, a few weeks ago when I had that nut case after me... yeah, I had to make a little list, of all the guys that I've slept with in the last two years. I couldn't remember some of their names.
Teddy: Stop.
Jinny: Ya know what? This is who I am, this is my family!!!! Come on, it's your turn. Go ahead, flash that all-American, prep school, choir boy smile and you tell me that it doesn't matter!

Jinny: Captain Amazing here decided to defend his wallet and laptop to the death. It didn't work, but you gotta admire the effort.
Teddy: My whole life was on that laptop.
Jinny: Ooh, sad commentary.
Angela: Did you see his face?
Teddy: White male, 18 to 22, shaved head, dagger tattoo on his wrist. I mean, he caught me by surprise, I could've taken him.
