Oh No

Even though my car is called "The Invisible" and I never had the chance to drive this year...I don't know if I should be thankful that I got my Drivers License.

And even though I'm underpaid at my job...I don't know if I should be thankful that I still have a job.

What do you think?

I'm thankful for the wonderful memories of my family, for being able to keep a job in this terrible economy, for the health I enjoy, for the cadre of friends I have and just for being alive and able to talk and walk and breathe and laugh.

It may seem silly, but there are MANY who are not able to do so, and I try not to take any of that for granted.

Family, friends, faith, food and shelter. Even though I lost my job this year I am trying not to lose my faith and to remember that God has a plan. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!!

Even though I have been out of work since January I have a lot to be thankful for.

I am thankful for God, music, being in school (even though it has its ups and downs), my aquantances (because I am not sure where I stand with my so called friends anymore), my apartment, my car, my family, and forums like this.

Well, I was going to joke that I didn't have to work tomorrow but I know there are some people that would love to have a job, so I shoudn't complain. I'm thankful I get a paycheck every week. Happy I'm healthy and happy (most of the time, anyways ). Life's been good to me so far.

What do you think?
First and foremost, I'm thankful for my family and my husband but very high on my list is my job. You should absolutely be thankful for your job. I completely understand being underpaid, but I think having a job is much better than not having one at all. I'm sure there are members here who will agree with me. I make pretty good money at my job and my 8 year anniversary is coming up on December 4th, but with this economy, I am going to have to add an additional job to make ends meet. It's kind of exciting, the prospect of doing something new but also a little frustrating because I know I'm going to lose some of my free time.

So I should be thankful that I have a job and a Drivers License then? Okay.
