Default So now that were are entering a new decade, what can we expect from N@N and TV Land?

Both Channels had their moments this decade with N@N being in 2000-2002 and TV Land being from 2002-2006 but who can guess what they will air in the next decade?

N@N-more shows from the 2000 era like All Of Us, One on One, My Wife and Kids, the Parkers, That's So Raven.

TV Land more shows from the 90's and 00's like King of Queens, Everybody loves Raymond, How I met your Mother, Will and Grace, Friends, and Yes dear.

Where else do Classic TV Fans go in the Cable World now that we know N@N and TV Land have no intentions of turning back the clock? Do we now just all create the same network in our house call DVDTV? I still would just like to say that both networks gave me some good times this decade and i guess we have no choice but to move on and just cherish the memories.

I will never ever ever forget the classic summer marathons on N@N in 2002. Best Programming decision of the Decade.

It wouldn't be so bad if all the seasons of all classic tv shows were on DVD. Unfortunately the studios still drag their feet on some of these shows.

Unless TVLand and Nick at Nite go back to their original roots, expect nothing from them but sh*t, and more sh*t.

How has N@N strayed from their original roots? I mean, in the 80s, the shows they were airing from the 50s and 60s, which were, at that time, 30 and 20 years ago. In the 2010s, 30 and 20 years ago will be the 80s and 90s. Yeah, they pretty much rushed pass the 80s and are focusing on the 90s and 00s now, but I don't see that they're too far off from what they originally were.

TVLand, I can understand. They blatantly said that they don't want to be the "classic TV network" anymore, so yeah, they're trying to change their identity. But that's gonna bite them in the asssss sooner rather than later. If changing their classic TV identity was working so well for them, then Andy Griffith wouldn't be in primetime and their highest rated programs would be DAYTIME reruns of Bonanza and Gunsmoke.

That's how I feel about Nick at Nite. I don't see them ever bringing back black and white shows or even shows from the 70s and early 80s. A long time ago Nick at Nite felt like a friend because of the cool promos and programming. But, that friend has passed away. It's sad that those days are over, but I'm thankful for DVDs and the occasional marathon on other channels.

I don't think things will change much on either Nick at Nite or TVLand unless the right management takes over - People that care and have respect for classic TV more than the mighty dollar.

I miss when TV Land used to be all about showing obscure short-lived series and cult TV shows and so didn't Bravo. These days I seem to be looking to Sleuth and Chiller for that. BTW, Chiller is currently showing Forever Knight, which hasn't been on SyFy/Sci-Fi since what? '01?

I bet NAN won't add any more 90s shows, they'll probably send them to TV Land. Except for Nanny most of them are buried late at night.

TV Land is going to struggle because they won't have a niche anymore, they'll just be another TBS, Nick at Nite, FX, etc. I thought they were wanting baby boomers, now it's people in their 40s. Guess it'll be 20s and 30s before long.

That's just stupid that TVLand doesn't want to be the classic tv show network anymore. I mean we have enough reality shows and stuff on tv, we don't need TVLand to show them too. I mean they are losing more people by what they are showing now, so if they want to make money, they should go back to showing the classic shows. Cause then more people would want to see the channel again.

I mean bringing Boston Legal to TVLand in January?! Seriously! That's on ION and it's not even 10 years old. At least they are bringing Home Improvement to TVLand, which I like, but I do wish they would bring more of the classic shows that aren't out on dvd back to tv, so that people who have never seen them, can.

It's really sad. I mean TVLand only really has 90s shows on it now. Except for All In the Family, Sanford and Son, MASH, The Cosby Show and Andy Griffith. Nick at Nite shows pretty much all 90s shows. I hope that the studios get all of the shows out on dvd and finish the seasons and everything because pretty soon, there isn't going to be any classic shows on tv anymore.

I really hope that Head of the Class comes out on dvd too. It's a great show and it's really underappreciated. It's 64th place on TVShowsondvd. That's higher than it was.

I think TVLand should wait awhile to show certain shows. ^I agree Boston Legal isn't even 10 years old. I also think That 70's Show might end up on n@n at some point.
