Question Have you watched more/less/same GG since Lifetime axed it?

I think I have watched more and more than ever before...and still not sick of it! There are eps I skip on purpose and I try not to watch the same one unless there's been at least 10 days between seeing them .... I miss some of the LT scenes that the other two have cut. If I had the dvd's I'd probably be too lazy to put them in the dvd player. Anyway, glad it's on a lot more than it used to be when it was on LT.

I don't watch it at all anymore, which is pretty sad. Occasionally, I'll flip it on if there is nothing else on that night. I just can't stand the editing and the terrible timing of commercial breaks on Hallmark. They butcher their shows and it makes it completely unenjoyable to watch.

Blanche: I don't really mind Clayton being homosexual, I just don't like him dating men.

Blanche: There must be homosexuals who date women.
Sophia: Yeah, they're called lesbians.

Today I noticed Hallf@%$ butched the entire scene where
Dorothy and Rose were trying to write a song .. "Miami is
nice, so I'll say it twice ..../ cuter than an intrauterine -"
In a later scene, Rose makes reference to something back in the previous scene which wasn't even shown. The editing is down right awful.

Default Yeah...

not faithfully or anything, but I'll have it on at least once a day. In some spots, it leaves things in that Lifetime edited, but some of the editing before a commercial breka is rather off-putting, it's true.

I wish it just as much late at night on Hallmark and sometimes catch it on WeTV.

I don't ever watch Lifetime anymore for anything...maybe an occasionaly movie flipping through channels, but otherwise I never do turn on that channel. The only reason I ever did was for Golden Girls and Designing Women.

Atleast as much, since it always on on either Hallmark or WeTV. Sometimes I'll tune in if I'm channel surfing, sometimes I'll watch during long commercial breaks on other channels. Sometimes the annoying editing inspires me to put in a GG dvd, to see what all I'm missing.

They also edited out the word "HELL" on Hallmark. Possibly because they still show a couple Mormon Church Shows on Sunday Mornings.

I still watch it just as much. I was happy at the different editing when I first saw them on the new networks because there were some new things coming out, but as I watch it more I am becoming more disgusted with the editing...good things are definitely missing.

Default DVD's best...

I once watched The Golden Girls at a mate's on Sattalite TV. They beeped out a part where Rose makes some reference to Blanche being a "tramp". I couldn't believe it. We hear far worse than that these days, walking down most High Streets in England. (Sad times.)

I buy the DVD's of the Golden Girls as soon as they are in the shops. Then I can watch them when I want - sod Sattalite TV.
