The Newspaper

It seems that 8 is a common number for the views of my threads to stagnate at. When I write about threads I am writing about the ones that never get any responses. Because of the number of times that they have stagnated at 8, I have depleted all of the "Sesame Street" routines that I can find to associate them with. One that I have used a couple of times on various pages is the one with the Mad Painter. In this skit, there is a bold man floating on a raft in a back yard pool reading the newspaper. On the front page, there is a story about how the Mad Painter strikes again! While he is reading the paper oblivious to what is going on, the Painter himself is painting a number 8 on the man's head! The last time that I wrote about this topic was on the "Caroline in the City" page and it was called "Another Raft". Interestingly, this thread did get a response! In any event, givin that the number of views of my last two threads on this page have stagnated at 8, I thought that writing about it would be quite appropriate. Or, at least, as appropriate as anything else that I tend to write about!
