I Need Help With Something.....

This probably should go in Fan Fiction, but I went to Fan Fiction, and that forum is... Like A Ghost Town..... I need help with my Max character in my Dave stories..... I just don't really like Max anymore. Dave of course LOVES him, but I DON'T! Should I make them break up?

I am struggling with this realization. I used to like Max when Dave was a background character, and Max was in the background too, since he's Dave's boyfriend. When I first made Dave a lead character, I still liked Max. But, as I wrote more Dave stories, I realized I don't like Max anywhere as much as I love Dave. I adored Dave so much as a background character that i made him his own lead character, and gagged at the thought of making Max a lead character. The thing is, in Darryl's Background Story! ,Dave said that Max and he had been together for two years, and DBS takes place a year after Dave becomes his own lead...... Should I have Dave and Max break up since I don't like Max too much anymore? or should I keep him since Dave loves him so much?



P.S. please Admins/Moderators, I am begging you not to close this thread. This question means a lot to me......

I don't know. On Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Sabrina's aunts say to her, "You can't FORCE your character to do something. It has to come from what the character wants." I know Dave WANTS Max, but I DON'T. My sister told me I should just break them up if I don't like Max anymore...... But, if I do that, I'd be FORCING Dave to break up with his boyfriend. If you were me Harvey, what would you do?

For some reason you think I have been reading your stories. To be honest, I haven't so I have nothing to comment on. You don't see author's asking people saying "tell me what to do". So I repeat what I said before, "whatever your little heart desires.
