Default A Lot Of Loose Ends on Melrose Place

There is a lot of loose ends between the original series and the new one.

1. What happened to Lexi? She bought the building in season 7. She should still be the landlord.

2. How could Sydney return from the dead? On her wedding day in the season 5 finale, she was killed in the car accident by Sam's father and he died also. Everyone saw it and she even bled to death! Craig (her fiancee) committed suicide over the loss of Sydney.

3. How could Michael's son (Auggie) be that old allready? The only kids Michael had was with Jane (1999) and Taylor (1998). That would make his son only 10 or 11 years old.

4. Amanda's return could be explained, but I thought she paid Michael bribe money to keep quiet about her and Peter running away. Where is Peter when Amanda returns? When she comes back, wouldnt she be arrested for faking her death?

In SoapLand, it could be anything. Maybe someone dreamed about it? That's how they brought Bobby back from the dead on Dallas in the 80's ...or Sydney had a long-lost twin or double that was in the car? Anything is possible.

Michael's son is David (the blond guy) but actually he looks like Jake. Maybe they'll change that later..originally he was supposed to be Jake's son but they changed it for some reason.

(And can't wait to see Amanda tonight!)

As you know, they can do anything w/ TV & many times have to change the storyline to bring back certain actors if the producers want them back. I don't think any of your questions will ever be answered & even if they bring back Peter Burns (Jack Wagner), there will probably be no mention of why they're returning, meaning him & Amanda (after faking their deaths).
