I just got the GREAT news!

February is SUCH a quick rollout for Season 6 that I'm stunned, but a round of applause for 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment!

And certainly a tip of the cap to whichever board member kept saying it would be one after another on the releases of Seasons 5, 6, and 7 since they already probably cued them up thinking they were going to first release a boxed set!

Two quick observations:
1) What an ADORABLE picture of Mary on the cover of Season 6!!!!

2) I could place all the "celebrities" they said made appearances on Season 6 except one...Dian Parkinson...somebody help me out, what was her role????

I'm not sure if you mean me specifically, but I did state that I thought we'd get the rest of the show pretty quickly since many were panicking that we might have a long wait for the remaining seasons. It just made sense to me that those seasons would already be raring to go. I didn't think it made business sense for FOX to let the product that is ready for sale just sit there. After all, the work had been done.

In any case, I'm thrilled it's coming out.

Yeah, Edster, I looked back and you were the one who floated that idea. It certainly seems to be happening that way. Good call!

Great idea, Catlover, on the hat toss!
And, also, our enduring thanks to Lance Corporal Baker on Veterans Day for his ultimate sacrifice.

She was a "Barker's Beauty" on The Price is Right at the time, from 1975 to 1993. She is also famous for being the first model to sue Bob Barker, for sexual harrassment in 1994. Her role was as Ted's assistant on The $50,000 Steeplechase.

OMG, Dian was my favorite Barker's Beauty as a kid, but I never put 2 + 2 together that she was Ted's assistant on $50,000 Steeplechase! I'm gonna have to check that ep out again!

I will buy the complete set if it's the only way I can get that blooper reel and any other extras they put in...otherwise I'm not sure.

This is fantastic news, though. There are some priceless eps in Season 6. And this will give me plenty of time to compile a top 5 for the inevitable: "What are your favorite Season 6 episodes" thread!!!!

I know I'm a bit later than usual in posting my reaction, but needless to say I'm THRILLED! Yes, Monika, a hat toss is in order. Let's have a party at Mary's....on second thought, let's not, hehe.

I would LOVE for there to be extras, esp. on this season, but I don't think anyone should hold their breath. Sorry, PGood. I hate to be a pessamist, but I think that's the reality. If I'm wrong, I'll glady eat my words, though!

I think we'll get Season 7 by the Spring as well if not early Summer. The seasons are ready and I've a hunch that FOX is plenty sick of the show. I think they're aiming to be rid of it as soon as possible.

Also, I think a complete set will come out soon thereafter, or at least in time for next Christmas. FOX knows people weren't objecting to a complete set. What people were objecting to was that it would be the ONLY way to get the remaining seasons. But a complete set AFTER season 7's release will definitely happen. It'll allow FOX to double dip and as much as they're sick of the show, no way would they pass up an opportunity to make more money (can't say that I blame 'em).

"What a happy and surprising moment for us all!"

Seriously, I check tvshowsondvd.com every day but never expected to see an item about MTM so soon. I am thrilled! This is the shortest wait yet, and sends us fans a good message that we will get all the seasons!!!

Thats why I'm waiting for the Compete series set, hoping they'll be more extras. I don't like how seasons 5-7 are not uniform with seasons 2-4 and season 1 was close enough. I sure hope the final curtain call is included in the last episode.
