Are There Any Ross/Phoebe Shippers Out There??? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hi all, i'm probably in the minority on this, lol, but i just wanted to know if anybody else shares my opinion that Ross and Phoebe would have made a more interesting couple. I always liked Phoebe the most out of the girls, no offense to Rachel but Phoebe was funnier, quirkier and had a better personality!!! Plus she was prettier! The Ross/Rachel make-ups to break ups got really STUPID. I was dissappointed when they got back together at the end, too damn predictable.

The first thing that I would like to do is agree that the make-ups and break-ups between Rose an Racheal did start to get redundant after a while. On top of this, I think that Phoebe was very pretty! I have always had a soft spot for lefties! However, Ross and Phoebe is kind of hard to imagine as a couple. Ross was very down to earth and accademcially orianted. Phoebe was an aging hippy who was very spaced out. What do you think that they could have offered each other?

Interesting conversation and laughs!! No offense to Rachel but she was dull (at least her personality) compared to Phoebe! At least Phoebe would keep Ross's interest, he would get bored with Rachel after a while. Rachel was the opposite of Ross too, she wasn't any more intelligent than Phoebe either. I guess i just like the idea of Ross/Phoebe together, plus i seen that episode where they kissed, it was a long time ago when i seen it, what was the situation with that?

One thing that I am very interested in is your point of view about Rachel not being any more intelegent than Phoebe. Granted Rachel was no rocket scientist. However, she seemed to have more of a sense of reason and logic than Phoebe. Phoebe's spaced out mentality was what made her the person that she was. Rachel, on the other hand dealt with things in a much more conventional way. Now let us talk about what you said about Phoebe being quick. One thing that I mentioned on various occasions is a time in which she referred to herself as a blonde who always uses a toilet! I thought that this was a very quick way of bringing humor into the situation!

LOL, oh no, i said that Phoebe was quirkier than Rachel, not quicker, i'm sorry if i confused you, it might have been a typo.
