NYPD Blue info? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

i wasn't sure if i should post this here or not...but i recently started watching "nypd blue," because of rick schroder. lol. so i was wondering if anyone could give me background info on his character; u know, family, love interests, friends, etc. any info would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks

Well i just got into NYPD Blue myself recently by watching re-runs on the FX channel its a great show im almost caught up.
Anyway Rick Schroder plays Dectective Danny Sorenson he came over to the 15 squad from Narcotics to be Andy's new partner when Bobby died here is some more info i found on his character for you.

Already a gold-shield detective at 28, Sorenson is an obvious up-and-comer in the NYPD, but he wound up in a bad spot for his first squad assignment after a stint in Narcotics: replacing the late and much-loved Bobby Simone in the 15th detective's squad. Despite some initial resentment, Danny seems to have won over most of the squad through his confident yet non-cocky attitude. If Danny has an odd quirk, it's his fear of "getting stirred up." He has two sisters, but had to raise them on his own after his father apparently died and his mother skipped out when they were kids.
