Post What was the best FINAL episode?

What do you think was the show that had the BEST final episode? Something that really wrapped up the series and ended plot lines and stuff?

Remember you can only name one.

You can incluDe in this post what you think was a show that ended with a disappointing ending...no wrap ups or "feeling of an ending"--

Also what was worst final episode of a show.

My favorite ending to a show was: I haven't decided yet.

The show that's ending never appealed to me: Married with Children. Hey they deserved a better finale!

The worst ending was Seinfeld!

Newhart is the obvious choice for most people, including me for the best and the worst...well, there's been a lot of them. TOO many.

The Cosby Show deserved a better finale. I really was looking forward to a tear-jerker.

Family Ties had a pretty good finale.

"The Nanny" had a great final episode. Fran had the twins and soon after, the family (including C.C. and Niles) moved to California, I believe. The final scene was a musical clip-show of how every one of the characters grew and matured and classic scenes that occured. then just as Fran leaves the house and closes the door, she runs back in, knowing she forgot something. She opens the closet door, extends her arm out and Grandma Yetta, who locked herself in the closet, grabs it and walks out.

"Such a beautiful place," Yetta says, looking around the house.

"Yes," Fran agrees.

Then Yetta holds Fran closer and whispers, "So much nicer than the one you had in New York," believing that it was the new house in California.

My opinion the best series finales was Alice and One Day at A Time because the leading characters overcame their battles as they dealt with being single parents and achieved their goals. Alice was dealing with a widow raising a song on her own while desiring to be a singer. The final episode showed her leaving the diner to finally have her dream fulfilled to be a singer. On One Day at a Time Ann Romano finally found the right husband, whom she married before the start of the final season and ended up moving to London to start an advertising business. The series finales of these two shows were nothing to write home about but showed how these two women overcame a lot to achieve their dreams and matured in the process.

I thought The Golden Girls had a pretty good ending. Seinfeld's ending sucked because there was no conclusion really. We don't know what happened to them after they got out of jail. So basically it was another episode. I'm just waiting to see what Friends end is gonna be. It'll be something over the top I'm sure.
