On the 22nd of last month, I posted a message on this page called "Out of Character". This was in regards to a time when Jamie acted in a manner that was quite different than her character usually behaved. In this episode, Fran explained to Jamie that she was wearing jeans on her date because she was having a good ass day. Fran was constantly calling her butt her ass. It was part of the boldness and agressiveness that her character was known for. Jamie on the other hand, tended to be far more tactfull. However, in this particular case, hearing Fran say her piece put the power of suggestion in Jamie. When Paul walked into the room, she turned her back towards him and said "am I having a good ass day?" After withstanding the shock of the situation, Paul assured her that she looked fine. By the way, Jamie was also wearing jeans at the time.
Because I was unsuccessful in stimulating any conversation on this topic, I will try yet another "Sesame Street" tie-in! So far, this thread has 18 views. Sometime in the nineties, there was a song accompanied with animation about the number 18. It was lunch time and a girl was trying to decide what she wanted. There were 18 different types of sandwhiches and she had a hard time making up her mind. After singing about all 18 varieties, her last verse was "forget the whole thing I'll have a pizza to go!" She then concluded by calling out the number 18. |
