Starcade on WTBS - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Does anyone remember this game show, if I remember right kids played certain video games for prizes. I always watched it when I was a kid.

Yes! I remember watching that all the time with the great host Geoff Edwards. Check out the

official site from the producers of Starcade. I thought it aired on only WTBS, but the site says it aired on stations across the US.

Bring back Starcade!

Todd, I have some good news for you!

Starcade has returned to the air in repeats. It airs on a channel called G4 (www.g4tv.com/starcade). It airs at various times. I watch it whenever it's on! It's great! This channel is availible on cable and sattilite! Check it out if you get it!

Starcade had two seasons. It ran from 1983-1985. For those living in Georgia, you would have seen the show on WTBS-TV, which then was a local broadcast network and is now a cable network known as Turner Broadcasting SuperStation. As you may know, there is a network called G4TV or G4, which repeats the show every so often.

I was a kid at that time and I didn't live in Georgia I lived in Michigan. When I watched it, and I watched it on TBS channel 17

The show actually aired on WTBS-TV in Atlanta. It's not true that it only aired there. It was syndicated nationally!!
