We often hear of the "nearby islands," but if you count them up, it seems as though Gilligan's Island was part of a considerable chain - though, perhaps, the farthest flung member. (And wasn't it lucky for some of the guest stars that they didn't land on those islands? Or who knows: maybe there were any number of wannabe visitors who ended up as guests of the Marubi or the Kupa Kai!)
So how many other islands form Gilligan's Archipelago? Here are two to start us off: Another Island and Still Another Island from "Music Hath Charm," both of which seem to have substantial native populations. Another Island might even be where the native family and Haruki hail from in "Gilligan's Mother in Law," since the chief seems to be the same man. |

Then there's the island of the Matoba tribe, home of Ugandi and Kalani. This island may have been visited by missionaries or other outsiders, since both Ugandi and Kalani could speak some English. The natives on Another Island didn't seem to understand a word of English (or French or German!).
