Talking Favorite "The Price of Right" Games

I have been watching "Price is Right" almost half of my life and I have always thought that the little pricing games were so so easy!

I have a lot of favorite pricing games like:

PLINKO!!

PUNCHBOARD

SAFE CRACKER (Loved the music used)

RACE GAME

ONE RIGHT NUMBER ("Gentlemen or ladies, do I have at least ONE number right? BEEP!!)

HOLE IN ONE (or TWO!)

MAKE YOUR MOVE

3 STRIKES

MONEY GAME

This is not a pricing game but I loved how they used to have the little train come out that displayed the prizes.

That's about it right there! What are your favorite TPiR Pricing games? Share your memories and the favorite moments

plinko, 3strikes, race game, safecracker, also:

Mountain Climber (yo-del-ay-ee-hoo)

The game where you have to draw cards to get to the value of the car

Piggy Bank

beat the clock (higher, higher, lower)

secret x

Worst game: Guess the digits in the price of the car and give back one dollar for every one you're off. Run out of the seven dollars you have and it's over. Tough game!

Easy games: blank check, range finder, which of the two prices is correct.

Tough games: (see above), 3 strikes,

I think TRIPLE PLAY is kinda tough, because, if you guess one thing wrong, you lose ALL THREE CARS, and I like the background music in THAT'S TOO MUCH!, but, Bob Barker forces the contestants to EXACTLY say, "That's Too Much"!, and for them to sound like they REALLY mean it

Plinko is my favorite game. Then the punch board game is my 2nd favorite.

Hottest Men alive:
Dale Midkiff
Anthony Starke
Tim McGraw
Jonathan Crombie

Lumpy: Did you go out for anything, Dud?

Dudley: Well, I went out for football, but I got my finger stepped on, so my mother made me quit.

Eddie: Well listen-- I went out for basketball and I got my hair pulled, and my mother made ME quit.

Dudley: It's not that I was afraid of getting hurt or anything; it's just that-- well, it's kind o' hard to play the flute with a busted finger.

[Eddie and Lumpy suppress laughter]

Hole in One

I think it would be more dramatic if the contestant would have to win the second chance to putt.

My Favorite Price is Right Games!

1. Plinko
2. Punch Board
3. Triple Play (Hard to win but what a payoff!)
4. Cliff Hangers
5. Hole-in One (or Two)
6. Ten-Chances

Hey, I saw that new game Pass the Buck and I think it's pretty cool, but haven't seen it enough to rank it yet! What do you guys also think of the new game "Bonkers?"

I don't like One-Right Price (Too easy and dumb) or Make Your Move. Not a big fan of Secret X either.

I'm glad they changed the 3 Strikes to only 1 strike in the bag as well. Still like Clock Game. Dice Game is easy to get screwed in though. (Have you guys noticed that we are seeing fewer prices, especially on the cars that end in 0, 9, or 5?) I think that this is especially aparent on games like Cover Up and One Away?

I'm not sure what the game is called but
the other one I like is where the person
has to stand on the correct # and he/she
can make move left, right, forward and
backward.

The game you mentioned where one person has to stand on the right number, and move left and right, is called "Pathfinder."

My favorite pricing games are:

-Piggy Bank
-Pathfinder
-Dice Game
-That one where they have all the cards, with 2 numbers in the price of the car, and if you get it right, you see either the front end or the back end of the car (BTW, this game is also ridiculously easy. I only like it because I yell at the people who don't realize it is "el cheapo" 99% of the time!)
-Punch Board
-Cliff Hanger (mountain climber...that's the same one, right?)
-That one where there's three prizes and you get ten chances to write down the price of all 3 prizes
-Hole in One (or two)
-I always loved the one where...I forget exactly how it is played because it's been eons since I've seen this game...but at the end, one of Barker's Beauties would go over to a huge safe and see if it can be opened. Is this game the same as Safe Crackers? I thought this game had been retired, it has been literally, probably 6 or 7 years at least since I have seen it
-Plinko

I hate Secret X, what a boring game. My biggest complaint with TPIR is that lately it seems like it's always the same games over and over again. I don't know if they have less games now then when I was a kid, or if I'm just paying attention better now

It's also a tad bit annoying that they rarely ever pick one "normal-not-specially-dressed" person from the audience, and I count college sweatshirts as special dress too because they almost always get on. I mean it's cool because if I ever get to go, I'll make a custom tee, but still....

Also, it bugs me that the showcases are so uneven now. They used to be fairly equal, both in price and coolness of prizes. Lately, I've been seeing showcases where one showcase has like 2 cars or a car and a boat, along with like a TV and other stuff, and it's worth well over $30,000, and the other showcase is a room and like a year's worth of pizza, and if you're lucky, pots and pans, which totals to like $13,000. What's up with that? I seem to remember them being much more even in the past.

Well despite all my complaining, TPIR always has been and always will be my favorite game show. Who else but a true fan could find all these flaws and still love it? (btw, I also miss the little train)
