Default Halloween Eps

It's all most halloween! What tv shows have the best halloween eps. I always liked the following:

Cheers "bar wars V"
The Dick Van Dyke Show "Ghost of a Craz"
The Simpons "three house of horror 5"
MASH "trick or treatment"
The Addams Family had two but cant think of the names right now
Growing Pains "Halloween"
Family Matters, they had four I can think of

What are some of your favorite halloween eps?

Also did anyone notice that there are very few halloween eps theses days. So far I seen two: NCIS and The Simpsons both had halloween themed eps but I did see any others.

The Halloween episode of "Tool Time" (1991) where Brad and Randy are scaring Mark, so Tim and Jill decide to give Brad and Randy a taste of their own medicine by dressing up like zombies and playing "In a Gadda Da Vida" really loud.

Wings had one Halloween episode where the gang thought someone left a human heart in the airport

NewsRadio also had one where they had a Halloween party.

I love the Simpsons Treehouse of Horrors the best, at least the earlier ones.

Cool

For the record the correct title of the "Dick Van Dyke Show" episode you referenced is "The Ghost of A. Chantz".

My favorite is "Halloween XII" from Square Pegs in 1982. You can watch it for free, legally here:

I love the Dick Van Dyke one, though it's more just a haunted one, not a Halloween one

Happy Days "Haunted" from the 2nd season is an all-time classic

I love a lot of the Bewitched Halloween ones (they had 6 in total I think) but my favorites are "The Safe and Sane Halloween" and "The Witches are Out"

Also, I love the "8 Simple Rules" Halloween episode

The early Treehouse of Horror episodes were really great. I love all the Roseanne Halloween episodes.

One of Scooby Dum's few appearances was in a "New Scooby Doo Mysteries" Halloween episode that featured the "headless horseman" as the villain.

Some that immediately come to mind:

Bewitched ("The Witches Are Out" (1st), "Trick or Treat")
Halloween with the Addams Family (TV special)
Highway to Heaven ("I Was a Middle-Aged Werewolf")
The Simpsons ("Treehouse of Horror"; esp. early episodes)

Back in the '90s, each network would seem to have a "Halloween week" each year where just about every series had a Halloween episode. That seems to have died down.

In the '60s-80s, you'd get Halloween episodes every so often but it wouldn't be a guarantee.

My favorites would have to be "Bewitched" (all 5 of them), "Home Improvement" and a non-sitcom "Early Edition", among others.

I remember that "Halloween with the Addams Family" special. It was a 90-minute color special from 1977. It was synicated in the early '80s - I remember seeing it on an independent station in both '82 and '83 Halloween time. I haven't seen it since. Too bad...it was very well done.

Cool

I really like the "Frasier" episode where they all decided to dress up as their hero for halloween and Niles dressed as his father.
