Dunno what made me watch, but it's laugh-out-loud funny, and I particularly like the intellectual fellow (I don't know anyone's name yet), and the guy with all the obscure Jewish references !

The former is Sheldon, played by Emmy-nominee Jim Parsons; the Jewish guy
is Howard, played by Simon Helberg. And you're right--it is laugh-out-loud
funny, consistently. Now in its third season (last night's episode was a
repeat from last season, by the way), Big Bang Theory is (in my humble
opinion) the best sitcom on television in years. Glad to hear from another fan.

Oh definitely. I have Season 1 on DVD(got it at Target for $14.99) and I can watch it over and over and never tire of it.

Yes, The Big Bang Theory is the best sitcom in years.

I would buy season 1 and 2 on DVD, and pick up season three starting next Monday. Great show. Enjoy.
