Default CNA class didn't work out

I told y'all that I was in training to be a nurse's aide but after a series of bad skill test grades, the teacher gave me a choice: Give me a couple more days to get my stuff together or leave. I chose to leave. Please don't be sad, I know I did my best and it's just a case of it wasn't good enough. So for now I will go back to my position at my family's store for now and wait for something else to come along.

I'm sorry that didn't work out for you. Yes, I know it sucks to get your hopes up on something and have it not go the way you wanted it to. I know where you're coming from, I tried different things to do with my life, and it took a while, but I finally found something I felt I could handle, and you are going to also. I know this is not the most encouraging thing to say, but now you know that this wasn't the thing for you. Then you can try other things, and eventually you will find where your talents are. Trust me.

Cool

I'm sorry this didn't work out for you but don't give up. I'm sure you'll find the right career for yourself.

I'm sorry that the CNA class didn't work out. I have similar experiences in which I tried to get into certain careers or majors. You tried your best. Like others said don't give up hope in finding your path.

When one door closes, another usually opens.

I could never be a health care professional, I don't think. The daily stress and suffering of the patients would wear on me and I'd have a hard time compartmentalizing it all. I really admire and salute those who can do it.

Thanks a bunch. I really am okay about the whole thing. It just wasn't meant to be. I realize I have a long life ahead of me and will have plenty more jobs by the time my number is up!!!

Sorry to hear that it didn't work out but I'm sure you learned some valuable information about nursing. I've noticed that if I trained for a specific job through school or on the job training and I don't end up getting a job in that field, that I always end up coming away with some knowledge.
For instance, I went to school to learn hotel management, and after getting fired from a series of hotel jobs, gave it up. But now when I stay in hotels, I know more than most people about how they are run.

I got a job with Verizon Wireless (cell), about 7 years ago and went through five weeks of training. During our last week, we were taking calls and so forth. My boss pulled me aside and told me that I was doing so badly in the training classes that I would be on probation from the very start. I quit right then and there since I knew I would always be watched more than others. Thankfully I kept my other job and was able to go back and get my full time position back. It was a godsend anyway because when I came back I was more "Into" it. I guess I just really needed a break. But now I know a little more about cell phones!
