Cross-like design on T-shirt creates controversy at Penn State - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

While the design does look like a cross, it was clearly unintentional. Some people will find something offensive about anything. What's next, banning the lowercase t from the alphabet or banning any design that remotely resembles a cross? When is this anti-Christian bigotry going to end? If this design just happened to resemble a Jewish or Muslim symbol, would people be up in arms?

Seriously, these complainers have too much time on their hands.

I think these complainers should take the message on the back of the T-shirt to heart and "don't be intimidated". It's only a t-shirt people!

You're right. I'm sick of the bigotry against Christians, yet nothing is said about Muslims, Jews, Budists, etc. You don't see the Star of David causing any controversy. But if it's a cross, call the police!

It IS kind of a weird design. I can see how it could be mistaken for a cross.

I don't know if I'd buy it either.
