Cool FOL Members Association Game

This game came to be when my friend Katie from FB sent me a FOL request from the episode "Golden Oldies" because she said that episode reminds her of me. All you have to do in this thread is to pick a FOL fan/friend and then pick an episode that reminds you of them. I'll start.

Okay, I'm going to pick my good friend Billie and for the episode that most reminds me of her, I pick "Teacher, Teacher" since in this episode Jo becomes a student teacher and Billie herself is a teacher.

^Thanks Mike. I love Teacher, Teacher. It's one of my favorite episodes even though a lot of people think it is boring. I guess I can relate to it.

Hmmmm...now to think of an episode for a FOL fan. I would say the episode "Out of Peekskill" reminds me of my friend LoveMrsG. Whenever I watch it I think about how poor Leigh can't bring herself to watch any of the episodes after that one. Without Mrs. G it's just on FOL to her. We agree to disagree on this though since I actually like the later episodes a lot.

Also the episode "Fast Food" reminds me of Mike. Since he says it's one of his favorite episodes, I guess he must really like Blair in a poncho and sombrero.

Billie (FactsFan) and I were discussing this on Facebook earlier. The episode Teacher's Pet really makes me think of Billie because she's an inspirational teacher like Jo's English teacher, Miss Gallagher, was in that episode, but also true to Billie's writing style, it was filled with tear-jerking drama and emotion. I think it's a great metaphor for her.

Also, the first season episode Like Mother, Like Daughter, although I've harped so many times before about how much I hate it, does remind me of my best (offline) friend. It reminds me of her because of how Mrs. Garrett goes into her whole speech about how loving another person doesn't just mean loving the parts you like, but rather, loving and accepting everything about that person, including things about them that drive you CRAZY!!! I love my best friend to death and I consider her to be my big sister in many ways, but there are things about her that do get on my LAST nerve and when that does happen, I have to remind myself of this episode, even though I do hate it!

I'm on a roll tonight! My best friend's cat is sitting on the desk right now purring at me and that got me to thinking about how much I love animals, and THAT got me to wondering if there were ever any animals featured in any of the episodes, and all of THAT reminded me of the season 5 finale two-parter, The Way We Were, when Natalie and Tootie get into a dispute over Tootie's cat, Jeffie. So you could say The Way We Were reminds me of my best friend's cat.

OKay, Leigh's turn. I think the epiosde that most reminds me of you is "Death in the Family". Like Nat, I know that you lost your father at much too young an age.

^That is a great episode to represent Leigh. It makes me think of her as well.
