What About a Re-release Season 1??

Has Anchor Bay ever said anything about a re-release of Season 1, with un-edited episodes of Roseanne? It seems they got alot of backlash, and promised complete network episodes, there-after, then they dropped the ball again with Seasons 8 & 9!!! I for one have never purchases any Roseanne because I want it "done right" from the beginning!!!! Atleast with The Cosby Show, where Season 1 was edited, they corrected it for The Complete Series.

I've even considered buying seasons 8-9 in Europe, but then I'm stuck with region issues! ANCHOR BAY !!!!! FIX THIS!!!! Then I will buy the whole series!

There was a complete set released in Germany that was relativly cheap, I think 80 euros for the entire show - every single episode unedited.

You should google your dvd player for the region free code, that's if your desperate enough for the unedited episodes.

Thanks, I didn't know about this process. I think I will check out Roseanne season 1 from Europe.

I thought only 1, 8 and 9 are unedited? So the whole series is then? If I knew this I would of brought that complete set...!!

I think that first one is a dutch set, I've heard they are unedited too but I'm not 100% sure. The second one is the german S9. Seasons 2-7 are unedited in ANY region, including the US sets.

How sad am I, I just ordered season 1 again because the packaging is getting old on the one I have...it was only £4 so I can't grubble
