Question What replacement GS host did you like?

I think Louie Anderson is a good FF host. He's pretty funny though. Skip Lackey was Michael Carrington's replacement from Think Fast on Nick. Skip was a little hyper and always said the answers. Mike usually ruins the game and is hardly ever excited when meeting the contestants. Does anybody know anything different about other replacement game show hosts?

Wink

Bert Convy (Super Password) or Ray Combs (Family Feud). No offense, but you and about 3 other people have to be the only Louie Anderson on FF fans out there. No offense.

If you've ever watched Make the Grade, you better notice that Lew Schneider was not a good host. In one episode, he had a ring in his ear and he always joked around and goofed off. Robb Edward Morris (his replacement) was the best. His SLOW voice bothers people sometimes.

Talking

like Pat and Vanna much better than Chuck and Susan. What an improvement that was!

Bert Convy did a very good job taking over as host of "Password". He was originally supposed to host the early 90s ABC version of "Match Game", but became ill with a brain tumor, so Ross Shafer took the job.

Steve Allen: He took over as host of I’ve Got a Secret in 1964 after Garry Moore left. He went on to continue hosting the CBS version of IGAS until the show went off the air in 1967 but he also hosted the 1972-73 syndicated revival.

Garry Moore: When To Tell The Truth was first revived in 1969(the same year original host Bud Collyer passed on), Garry Moore becomes the host which he continued do so until 1977 when he was replaced by Joe Gargiola.

Bob Eubanks: While Jim Perry(Original Card Sharks host on NBC) was focusing on hosting duties on Sale of the Century. Bob Eubanks stepped up & take over host of Card Sharks when CBS first premiered it in 1986.

There was also Tom Kennedy, who replaced Allen Ludden on Password Plus. He did really well as a replacement for his long-time friend.

I enjoyed watching Geoff Edwards fill in for a week on Lets Make A Deal. I dont think he did better than Monty, but still it was fun. It brought back memories of watching Edwards do The Big Spin lottery show in California back in the 80's.
