New About Lisa - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Over on the "Friends" page of this site, I read some very interesting news about Lisa Kudrow! One thing that true fans of "Mad About You" know is that before she was Phoebe Buffy from "Friends", she was Ursela Buffy from this series. However, once "Friends" started to take off, her time as Ursela became less and less often. I guess that she was too busy being Phoebe! Another thing that most of you probably know is that since both shows have been off of the air, she has been involved with a lot of other things. Well, over on the "Friends" page, there was mention of a new series that she and some guy are going to produce for "Showtime". The same post mentioned another project that she is also working on. Because of how much of a dead zone this page seems to be, telling you guys all of this is simply one more attempt to stimulate some conversation!

I always liked Ursela better than Phoebe. I wish Lisa Kudrow had never been cast on Friends. Then we might have seen more of Ursela on Mad about You!

Very interesting point of view! Did you like anything about "Friends"? I thought it was a pretty decent show. Is there another actress who you thought would have been better in the role of Phoebe?

Well I liked Matthew Perry's character, Chandler Bing. I think he was the one I related to most. And I liked how loyal the main characters were to each other. I think Jami Gertz might have made a good Phoebe.
