Lightbulb If you could host any game show...

If you could either take over hosting duties from the current host or resurrect an old game show and host it yourself, what would you chose?

My first choice would be Family Feud. I'd fire Louie and half the crew, burn the set and bring back the 1994-1995 set (with a few minor changes) and use the original rules (i.e. no bullseye anything and no single, single, single, triple rounds).

My second choice would be Match Game.
My third would be Password- played like Password Plus.

Cool

I would host Treasure Hunt!! Just like it was in the late 70s-80s with host Geoff Edwards. Id keep the original concept, with the balloons, and the jack-in-the-boxes, but id add something.
THE TRIP TO TREASURE ISLAND!!
we send the contestant to a set which is designed like a tropical island, give them a map, and 1 min,50sec to find a treasure chest with a million dollar check. We could have weather problems (smokescreens and horrendous rains) to create obstacles for the contestants
That sounds cool!
Id also like to reincarnate DOUBLE DARE

I would wanna host Family Feud. Kick Louie Anderson out, redesing the set (to keep the current colors but make it look more like the Dawson/Combs/Dawson set. Either that or a revival of Match Game. Better yet....Host Family Feud and be a celeb on the revivaled MG.....wait, THAT sounds familiar. Eh. I hope y'all get the point.

Basically, I'd wanna Family Feud.

I would host "I've Got A Secret"!Here is the concept I'd make for it and the other choices I have:

"I've Got A Secret" (1952-1967?)
Set:I'd but a seat for me on one end and the panel'll sit on the other side of the set.
The Logo:The Logo would be that "I've" on top of "Got" with a big "A" and "secret" in the bar.
Regulars:Betsy Palmer,Kitty Carlisle,and Tom Poston.
Music:An updated version of Plink!Plank!Plunk!

"Match Game 7x/PM" (1973-79,75-82)
Set:It'll be a fiesta type theme to match the song (see music).I like the little cornicopia like thing from"I Love Lucy's" club.So the panel will sit in those kinda things. The contestants would face them.
The Logo:The classic logo with lights. It'll be like something like "Match Game '01"
Music:The same song fromthe seventies.

"The Price is Right" (1972-)
Host:After BB quits I'm doing it.
Set:Big lenolium floor with the TPiR dollar sign on the floor. There will be an elevated area with that red velvet-like carpet(I'll get to know the contestant more there).Plinko will be in every episode. The contestant's row would not have seats but stools instead. In the wall behind the audience seating will be the b/w 1956-65 Price is Right Price Tags with the words Price is Right on them. The contestant's row contestants will be able to write down their bid, kinda like the 1962-67 Match Game and Final Jeopardy.
Logo:The classic one,of course!
Music:The one now is very popular! So I'll keep it as it keeps the classic quizzical sound in it.

Supermarket Sweep (1990-)
Set:The contestants will be able to have places to sit. They'll be real shopping carts that they'll use in new games(see new games).
New Games:There'll be a game in which the players have to get certain items in the store in 1 minute (probably 5 items). Then a new game in which the first person to think of a mishap that happened to themselves or there partners or both they'll do the thing they did in the early TattleTales.
Music:The theme they have now.
Logo:The logo will be new. It'll have a Cart ram into the screen causing it to "break" to reveal the word SUPERMARKET SWEEP! an the they jump in the cart.

That's it.I'll post some more later.

I think hosting the Match Game would be the most fun.

Thumbs up

Classic Double Dare, or the revival of Wild and Crazy Kids. I'd be awesome, because I'd get to participate in the games all the while. I'd kick Donnie Jeffcoat's ass!
