I was watching this one on Spike recently. He's the unknown man going by a few soap opera names such as "Tom Hughes" and would check into hospitals and then leave without paying the bill. I remember in the original airing it said it was thought he could have had an addiction to pain pills. His family called in and did identify him shortly afterwards. I found it interesting on Spike that Dennis Farina said they know believe he could have had Munchhausen Syndrome and thats why he perpetrated these scams.
