Oh No Browns/Steelers Rivalry...is it worth it anymore?

12 losses in a row and a 13th one is in the way for the 'Browns'.

Face it-The Browns suck extreme ass, even Mangini can't save this team. Nothing will and the Steelers Rivalries are just getting to the point where you might as well say "Browns forfeit, Steelers win".

That's just how it might as well be now!

The rivalry would be worth it if our team didn't suck so bad!! It's just not the same since the Browns came back, anyway.

As a Steeler fan since the late 60s/early 70s, I never thought much of the rivalry anyway. It was rare for both teams to be really good at the same time. Plus, today's Cleveland Browns are an expansion team... the old Browns moved to Baltimore back around 1996 or so.

Most so-called rivalries are overrated anyway. The way players move around, you don't see the same group of players competing against the same group of players from the other team for several years in a row anymore. The only rivalries that exist are with the uniforms, not the players.

To keep a rivalry going, teams have to play against each other in important games for several years at a stretch. In the 70s, the Steelers and Raiders met in the playoffs for five straight years. THAT'S a rivalry.

A lot of players on both teams weren't even born when the true rivalry existed. The Steelers are no more rivals with the Browns than they are with the Raiders. There was a time when they were true rivals, but no more.

I wouldn't even call it a rivalry. I mean both teams dislike each other obviously, and so do the fans to an extent, but rivalries- both teams win. Red Sox, Yankees, Cowboys-Eagles, Lakers-Celtics etc. but I will call it a rivalry, but not a fair one. it's not worth it for you Monika, and Paul, but I would still route my team on if I were you. It's hard, especially with how bad you've been for so long (no offense), but that's what I would do. Of course, I'm not used to my team losing that much since being a football follower/fan 10/12 years ago, but I'm just saying.

Oh, I always stay loyal to and root for the home teams, no matter how much they suck (which is most of the time)!

Well, they say that Cleveland's the most frustrated sports city in the nation. 45 years without a win and its many drastic losses, which started with Rocky Colavito....

1959-The Trade. Ever since The Indians traded Rocky Colavito, the Indians have never been the same. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curse_of_Rocky_Colavito

1981-The Red-Right 88. A play that would end the Browns season and made the Raiders win another Super Bowl.

1987-The Drive. The Browns were in the lead 20-13 and with 5 minutes remaining, John Elway would get to the end zone by not only tying the game, but the Broncos would be Super Bowl bound.

1988-The Fumble. Not only the Browns would blow the game, but Ernest Byner who caused the fumble would leave the Browns after that fiasco.

1989-The Shot. IMO...the least concern of these curses, but still a bad one.

1995-The Move. Art Model took the Browns and later we got...The 'Browns'.

1997-The Messup. Jose Mesa sure did **** it up for the Indians in the 1997 World Series...and causing us to never see another World Series.

2000-The Contract. Not only the Tribe can't keep Rameriez or Thome, but with the Dolans being the cheapskates...we'll never see another World Series!

2007-The Collapse. The Indians were 3-1 in the ALCS...but Boston reclaimed the wins and made it to the World Series, which made me say "Baseball IS fixed"!...And that was the year Drew Carey took over "The Price is Right". There was also 'The Sweep' which made the Cavs lose the NBA Finals and 'The Win/Lose' for The 'Browns', making it 10-6...but not for The Playoffs.

2009-The Black Magic. The Cavs were 8-0 before facing the Magic and they lost the Eastern Conference Finals.

No wonder Cleveland's the Mistake-on-the-Lake, and I just gave up on Cleveland in general,"There's NEVER Next Year", and that's why I use the metaphor when something that will never happen by ending it '...when Cleveland wins a Championship'.

Yeah that's tough. At least it hasn't been 102 years like the Cubs current drought. They can't even win a championship in the century .

If the Cavs have another season without a Championship...it would equal up to 120+ years without a Championship, even though it's 45 years.

Sorry Buffalo...you have two pro teams....

LOL@MrCleveland dissing the Cleveland teams hahahahahahahahahahahaha. The Browns will never be good and they'll never win a championship. Maybe they might do better when i'm dead but even then i don't think they will be any good LOL. I don't think the Cavs are gonna win a championship anytime soon because Lebron still doesn't have good teammates. Getting Shaq isn't gonna help them get to the finals. So don't be surprised if Boston or Orlando beats them in the playoffs this year. People need to stop wondering if Lebron is gonna leave Cleveland when his contract is up next year because i think he's gonna retire a Cavalier. He would be a fool to leave Cleveland since he's the franchise player. Some people think he might go to the Knicks when his contract is up because they think he wants to be in New York so he can get a lot of attention and more endorsements since New York is a big city hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. He would be a fool to go there because the Knicks will never be good again LOL. The Knicks fans better keep reminiscing about the Knicks glory years of the 70's, 80's and 90's hahahahahahahahahahaha.

Well, the 'Browns' got pwned by the Packers.

And get this...some of their players were sick! Maybe a forfeit should've been less painful!

The Browns get their as*es kicked every week hahahahahahahahahahaha. I saw the score of their game against the Packers. That's pathetic to get beat that bad at home. I know the Browns fans were booing LOL. They're gonna lose to the Bears Sunday and their record will be 1-7 LOL. They aren't gonna win anymore games and they'll finish 1-15 LOL. MrCleveland, did you hear about Braylon Edwards got into a fight at a club with Lebron James friend? Braylon punched the guy and now he has to go to court about it. I don't think he's gonna do any jail time. He'll probably have to pay a fine and do some community service. MrCleveland, you see the Cavs are already 0-2? LOL. I can't believe they lost to Toronto. Mike Brown is a wack coach. He should be playing Shaq a lot more. What the hell did Cleveland pay Shaq a lot of money for if he isn't gonna play that much?
