In this popular 70s series, handsome, fun loving, private eye, Dan Tanna (Robert Urich), drives around Las Vegas in his vintage Thunderbird solving private cases but is also on retainer to a wealthy casino owner Philip Roth (Tony Curtis) to keep crime out of his hotels.

He is helped by his smart and sexy assistant Bea Travis (Phyllis Davis), a sexy and not too smart chorus girl who takes messages for him, and his enthusiastic, yet inept, legman Bobby Binzer (Bart Braverman).

The first volume contains 11 episodes that aired in 1978 on ABC.

Sorry, CBS DVD!!!!! You lost a customer here! I don't buy SEASONS by VOLUMES of tv shows. I passed on The Love Boat, My Three Sons, Love American Style, etc. for the same reason.

Thankyou for the great sets of The Lucy Show, The Beverly Hillbillies and Petticoat Junction! When you treat the above shows like you treated these I will Buy. Thankyou

I also am not a fan of when they split up the season releases of shows.

They started this with Rescue Me. They recently put out Season 5: Volume One which they did not do for Seasons 1-4.

Nip/Tuck also started doing this.


At least Bonanza had both volumes released at the same time.
