I posted this link a few yrs ago but i noticed something different that i don't recall reading when i first posted it The murders are similar to the murders of Bobbie Oberholtzer and Annette Schnee

The one thing I was curious about with this case was does anyone know if the parents are still getting those sick greeting cards the killer was supposedly sending them? The Hallelujah bloody Jesus garbage? Or did those stop?

I'd sure like the know! That killer has to be taken off the street. What serial killer is suspected of doing this? I remember reading on a web site about this!

Yates didn't kill men. At least none that were discovered by the authorities.

Here's my read on this:

1) If the gloves were left in good condition, then the fingerprints that they now can read from INSIDE of them should be able lead them to a suspect. If not, the DNA left in the gloves might.

2) They don't specify a manner of death for Tanya. I wonder if this is because they found the box of ammunition and that had something to do w/ it.

3) Without wanting sound as if I had a prurient interest in the case, you have to wonder what the detective meant when he said that the manner that Mr. Cook's body was found reminded them of something seen in prison. What was the deal with that?

4) To my mind, the box of ammunition might be the next best clue as to finding the killer. If a somebody was arrested or detained later and had a weapon on them, then maybe the ammunition in that weapon would match the ammo found w/ the cable ties.

5) I am surprised that the killer's DNA hasn't come up in the system. This type of killing seems to be something that the killer had done before. Let's hope that he's still alive and in prison waiting to be "discovered."

and finally:

6) The letters: I'm surprised that law enforcement around the country doesn't share DNA information from harassing cards and letters that crime victims receive. I've always thought that most of them were written by a small group of people and that DNA tests could probably uncover the majority of them.

I agree w/ the police that the letter writer is completely different person than the killer.

Replying to this as two other threads on the same case have just been bumped up.

It's creepy that this was never solved. Since they were sure the killer had been in prison, couldn't they start by narrowing it down to violent offenders who'd been recently released around that time?

look up the name Charles Sinclair

I wouldn't be surprised if he was the perpetrator in this case.
