This thread is devoted to prime-time TV theme songs sung by the stars of the shows, on the air (not merely on records released later):

Alice (sung by Linda Lavin, beginning with Season 2)
All in the Family (sung by Carroll O'Connor and Jean Stapleton)
Baywatch (closing theme sung by David Hasselhoff)
B.J. and the Bear (sung by Greg Evigan)
The Fall Guy (sung by Lee Majors)
Family Guy (sung by Seth MacFarlane)
Frasier (closing theme sung by Kelsey Grammer)

Erin Moran and Scott Baio sang the theme song to Joanie Loves Chachi, and Grant Goodeve sang the Eight is Enough theme later on in that show's run. Patti LuPone and the rest of the Life Goes On cast sang the opening theme song (the Beatles' Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da).

Greg Evigan also sang the theme song to My Two Dads, which he co-starred on with pre-Mad About You Paul Reiser and pre-Step by Step Staci Keanan.

Green Acres - Theme song sung by Eddie Albert and Eva Gabor if I'm not mistaken

Also, on one episode of Bonanza the cast sang the seldom-heard lyrics to the series' theme.

After the first season of The Brady Bunch the kids sing the theme song at the beginning. Also, Florence Henderson sang the theme song to the 1990 dramedy (and Brady spinoff) The Bradys.

Eddie Albert & Eva Gabor did indeed sing the Green Acres theme.

Lee Majors sung the theme for The Fall Guy, Chuck Norris did the theme for Walker Texas Ranger, the who does the voice of Cleavland sing the theme for The Cleavland Show.

American Dad! - Seth MaFarlane, who does the voice of Stan Smith on American Dad! sang the show's theme song as Steve Smith.

227 - I always thought that Marla Gibbs was the singer in that show's theme song but I could be wrong. I mean sounds like her though.

Gimme a Break! - It sounded like Nell Carter was doing the singing on that show's theme song.

Super Mario Bros. Super Show! - Lou Albano (RIP) who played the live-action Mario and did his voice on the cartoon portions, sang the show's closing theme song "Do The Mario!"

You're right - Marla Gibbs did indeed sing the 227 theme.

Cybil Sheppard sang the theme of CYbill and Will Smith rapped the opening to THE Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Queen Latifah sang the theme to Living Single
Chuck Norris sang the opening to Walker Texas Ranger as well

not sure but do the two and half men cast sing the opening to their show

and Della Reese sang the opening to Touched by an Angel
and Garry Shandling sang the theme to Its Garry Shandling Show

Holly Robinson Peete sang the opening to Hanging with Mr Cooper
Marla Gibbs sang the opening to 227
