This was probably one of the most disturbing cases on UM. They apparently are closing in on a suspect.

Great news, this has always been my all time favorite segment and right at the very top among the ones I've most wanted to see solved.

Here's hoping something comes out of this.

Check the date... It was from back in April of 2009, so not entirely new. But I for one hadn't seen that piece of video yet so it was cool to see. Thanks for posting it! (And that kind of video on YouTube IS legal to share!

If you do a search on this forum for "Angela Hammond" you will find another thread about that case. Her sister posted some information there this spring when this info came out originally. Interesting stuff. Unfortunately I don't think anything new has come out since then.

who's the suspect? Boyfriend is the only suspect I have, but I can be wrong.

I just saw the clip and I cant see what the new momentum is.....DNA from what? A phone boot the "unknown" killer did not touch?
If Angela Hammond is found maybe this case can be solved. I guess her boyfriend never gonna crack....

According to the news segment, now police rules out any links with the murders of Trudy Darby and Cheryl Ann Kenney.

This is good news. Are there any links to the news stories? Who is the suspect? But most importantly, does anyone know what has happened to angela? I would like to wish that, just like with Jayce Duggard, she could be found alive after all these years, and that there COULD be a glimmer of hope (however faint), but I really, really don't think so. I was surprised that the police now don't think that the Hammond case is connected to the others. I always thought that Angela could have been the victim of a serial killer.

The initial link referenced TSTMNBM (The site that must not be mentioned) so was edited out by the powers that be. It's an April 2009 news report from KMBC regarding possible DNA evidence that can now be processed with new technology.

I was only joking about Y.T. because I thought it was just the UM stories that couldn't be linked. I didn't realize nothing could be linked else I wouldn't have had the -->

To my understanding from the owner its all links, not just UM ones that aren't allowed on this particular board.

Thanks for clarifying that, CD. No harm either way. Although I think I'll stop making any references to that site, even in jest. Keeps me out of trouble that way. (A lesson I should have learned in 3rd grade, but oh well....)

Wait a sec....she was pregnant?!? Now this is something I didn't know...was this previously known and I've just been in a hole in the ground and missed it? That kinda puts a new spin on things. Is the boyfriend still a suspect?

I think the boyfriend was cleared long ago. Yes UM never mentioned she was a few months pregnant but someone mentioned they watched a talk show with Angela Hammond's mother on it years ago and she mentioned it.

Whew, good. Unfortunately it's all too common these days for the baby daddy to do away with the pregnant girlfriend/wife when he wants out from the situation. But Angela's boyfriend just didn't strike me as that type. He seemed like a good guy who was genuinely upset and heartbroken that he couldn't catch up with the kidnapper.

I hope they eventually find a resolution to this case.
