Dirty Dancing--playing again in my hometown! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I don't know why exactly--maybe the theater owner is paying tribute to Patrick Swayze? But Dirty Dancing is once again on the big screen in my local cineplex.

anybody else know of it playing elsewhere?

I have it on DVD

And my g/f arrives in town this Saturday.....she has never seen it but I'm not gonna plunk down hard earned bucks for something we can watch at the house for free

I remember going to see this in the movie theatre-AFTER it had come out on VHS!!! I'd love to see it on the big screen again! I"m sure it is to pay tribute to Patrick Swayze. I bet he'd be really happy to hear about that! I think if I watched that movie again, I would cry! I have "She's Like the Wind" on my Ipod Shuffle and it always makes me think of him! He had such a beautiful singing voice!
