Museum of TV & Radio's collection now online - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

For those interested, The Paley Center for Media (formerly known as The Museum of Television & Radio) has finally listed their extensive collection online, with a search feature included. I just got finished looking through their Honeymooners collection, which surprisingly doesn't include anything too rare. Aside from some random Classic 39 & Lost Episodes, I noticed that they had one of the 50's Trip to Europe shows ("When In Rome") and a few of the 60's remakes; the 7 Cavalcade of Stars sketches with Pert Kelton, as well as the 2 that were done on Ed Sullivan's Toast of the Town; the Jack Benny parody with Audrey Meadows; and the following shows, which I found most interesting:

Cavalcade of Stars - Honeymooners Contest (No idea what this is)
Jackie Gleason Show (1st episode reconstruction - with "New Bowling Ball" sketch)
Jackie Gleason Show (2nd episode reconstruction - without "The Turkey")
Jackie Gleason Show (4th episode reconstruction - with "Lost Baby")
Jackie Gleason Show (5th episode reconstruction - with "Quiz Show" remake)
American Scene Magazine (with "TV Game of the Week" sketch)

The collection has been online for awhile, but everytime I've gone to it to seems to be in the process of being added to. Hopefully it's more complete now, especially since you mentioned the early Gleason shows which I don't recall seeing listed. I have found it kind of hard to navigate through at times, but then again it may have been improved upon. I'll check it out this weekend, thanks for the reminder Bill!

The Paley Ctr. is wonderful & is still one of the few places you can see certain shows. I'd go there to see Room 222, Patty Duke and the Paper Chase amongst others. But thanks to wonderful SHOUT! I can now see these three shows that I love @ home.

It is a shame that the Paley Center can't make these programs for people to download on their computer. I understand why they can't though probably because of bandwith which costs $$$.

I think all the legal loops to jump through would be the number 1 factor in that regard.
