Dodgers vs. the World Champion Phillies
Angels vs. New York Yankees

Best of luck to all 4 teams. With as little bias as possible, predictions for this round, and in how many games?

I am not going to predict this round. I believe in jinxes and I am not letting that ruining my team's chances of repeating.

4 quality teams are left.

Three of them have won a World Series in the decade- and the other won has been to an NLCS before and has proven clutch players in Torre and Manny.

Should be interesting.

Should be a hell of a week-weekend.

Last year- BOS- Tampa, Phillies-Dodgers was really good. What will this year bring?

Hopefully another parade, in Philly.

I'm betting on the Dodgers but that's just because they are closer to Seattle than Philly! Plus I like Joe Torre! But good luck to the Phillies, Kyle! For some reason I thought that the Dodgers lost already! I haven't really been keeping up but I caught a glimpse of the Colorado game today. Guess that means that Colorado lost! Shows how much I know!

The World Series is going to bring in massive ratings for 3 of the 4 possible matchups: Yankees/Dodgers, Yankees/Phillies, and Angels/Dodgers.

The Yankees also plan to use a 3 man rotation against the Angels, which can be a very costly move if they make the World Series. Right now, it looks like this:

1- Sabathia
2- Burnett
3- Pettitte
4- Sabathia
5- Burnett
6- Pettitte
7- Sabathia

So we have C.C. pitching 3 times in 7 games. If the Yankees trail 2-1 or 3-0, then C.C. needs to pitch game 4. But, if they are up 2-1 or 3-0, Gaudin should pitch game 4 and save C.C. for either game 6 or 7.

Not to mention all 4 teams are great. First time since 1983 I believe, that their are no final four teams that are wild card berths, or didn't have the 4 best records in the Majors.
